About Priority Living Now
Priority Living Now is a free library of Bible study tools and faith-based planning resources for people who want to study God's Word deeply and live it out, one ordinary day at a time.
Why “priority living”?
Paul urged the Ephesians to walk “circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15–16). Most of us do not lack information about the Bible; we lack time, focus and a plan. This site brings both halves together: study tools that make the Bible easier to understand, and planning tools — reading plans, printable planners, prayer journals and articles — that help turn Bible study into Bible living.
What you will find here
- The full text of the Bible in eight public-domain English translations, with chapter summaries and verse-by-verse commentary.
- The original Hebrew and Greek behind every verse, linked to Strong's Concordance and modern scholarly lexicons.
- Thousands of topics, a combined Bible dictionary, name meanings, people, places and a timeline.
- Daily devotionals, historic creeds and catechisms, reading plans and a Christian calendar.
- Free printable planners, journals and worksheets, and practical articles on time, priorities and spiritual habits.
Our sources and standards
We build on trusted, time-tested works: the King James Version and other public-domain translations, Matthew Henry, Albert Barnes, Adam Clarke, Jamieson-Fausset-Brown, Spurgeon, Easton, Smith and the International Standard Bible Encyclopedia — together with open scholarly datasets such as STEPBible (Tyndale House, Cambridge), OpenBible.info and Theographic. We never alter the text of Scripture. Every source is credited on our sources & licenses page.
Classic commentaries reflect the views of their authors and their time. We present them because they have helped generations of readers, not because every line is the last word. Where scholars disagree — on dates, locations or interpretation — we try to say so.
Our statement of faith
We hold to the historic Christian faith summarized in the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed: one God in three persons; Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, who died for our sins and rose bodily from the dead; salvation by grace through faith; and the Bible as the inspired Word of God. We serve Christians of every denomination.
