What is Reformation Day?

On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther posted his Ninety-five Theses in Wittenberg, sparking the Protestant Reformation and its rediscovery that “the just shall live by faith.” Lutheran and Reformed churches remember the day with thanksgiving.

Scripture for Reformation Day: Romans 1:16-17

16For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
